Toy Acoustic
Some bands sound good electronics / (:?

My favorite: Breathe Carolina Breathe Electric Broken Toy Airplanes An Owl Kill Paradise City Shiny Toy Guns Cowardly Lion The Secret Handshake Nickasaur NeverShoutNever <3 I neeeeed new music to listen.: D

Electro Bands: Apoptygma Berzerk Belanova (if electro-pop are in Spanish: P) Crystal Castles (quite experimental, but cool) Dirty Vegas The Faint (techno / rock) Klaxons Ladytron The Whip mix (electro / mix type of rock) VNV Nation For the acoustic field, start looking at the indie rock. You can not go wrong with Death Cab for Cute, The Decemberists, or Bright Eyes. Furthermore, out in a limb, try 65daysofstatic bands and foals. They are what they call "Math Rock". It's a new gender-modern type of rock with a little electro feel to it. * Shrugs * You never know.

Acoustic

$13.98

Acoustic is an imaginatively titled collaboration between Lagwagon’s Joey Cape and Tony Sly from No Use for a Name. It finds the Cali punk vets contributing stripped-down versions of songs from their respective main gigs, as well as one new song each. Sly begins with “International You Day,” redone in lush acoustics and warm synthesized strings — shucks if it isn’t comparable to the bleeding heart emo stuff all those Drive-Thru and Militia Group kids are putting out. “Exit” features some nice vocal harmonies and a bittersweet piano lead, while a spare take on “Justified Black Eye” subdues the Bad Religion racket and amplifies the influence of the Hollies’ “Bus Stop.” New track “Stunt Double” is in the same vein as these, built from plaintive acoustic and toy piano. As for Joey Cape, he sounds remarkably like Lou Barlow when the Lagwagon racket’s stripped away, particularly on “Move the Car” and “Violins” (both originally from Hoss). Cape also incorporates more of a production element into his portion of Acoustic, utilizing various vocal filters. Cello, vibes, oboe, congas, and Mellotron also fill in the backgrounds on tracks like “Tragic Vision” and “Wind in Your Sails.” (Summercamp’s Tim Cullen helps out with vocals on the latter.) “Violet,” Cape’s new contribution, solidifies the notion that he might have a career as a morosely melodic, Barlow-ish indie troubadour if his Lagwagon gig ever finally stalls. ~ Johnny Loftus, All Music GuidePerformers: Jon Snodgrass – Chords; Todd Capps – Mellotron, Oboe, Piano, Vibraphone; Ryan Greene – Cabasa; Tim Cullen – Vocals (Background); Thomas Flowers – Banjo; Brian Mann – Accordion; George Pendergast – Conga, Djembe; Joey Cape – Guitar, Percussion, Vocals; Angus Cooke – Bass, Cello, Guitar (Bass), Percussion

Yamaha CGS102 1/2 Size Classical Acoustic Guitar

Yamaha CGS102 1/2 Size
Classical Acoustic Guitar

$119.99

This is Yamaha’s smallest instrument. Its 21 in. scale length and 3-3/4 in. deep body provide a perfect fit for the youngest musicians (ideal for student ages 3 – 7). This petite size is the most difficult to produce properly, and many inexpensive “toy” guitars fill this price range. But don’t let them fool you – the CGS102 is a legitimate musical instrument, constructed with the beautiful tonal woods and meticulous details of a full-sized Yamaha guitar.
