What is the difference between an Acoustic Guitar and a Folk Guitar?

What is the difference between an acoustic guitar and a guitar folk? Also, if you can please. Is it a "sound" or "a sound"? Thank you. Thank you. I mean why they are called "popular"? If I go to surf guitars found in the category "Acoustic" and "Folk". Why? Thanks again.

An acoustic guitar is any guitar that has a hollow chamber that makes the totally acoustic sound without amplification. There are many types, including Flattops steel chain, Archtops, and classical (nylon string) guitars. "Folk Guitar" is essentially a meaningless term that is often used to indicate an acoustic guitar with a smaller body size than the dreadnought or jumbo common. Something like a large concert or even the acoustic guitar room that could called a folk guitar. The term probably comes from the fact that many folk musicians – myself included – prefer smaller body guitars.
