Jazz Piano
What is the best way to learn to play jazz piano for a classical musican?

I'm 13 years old and I've been seriously studying classical piano for the past 7 or 8 years. (I don't mean to sound pretentious, but it's true!) I would really like to learn how to play jazz piano; I've purchased several books, but none of them are exactly right. Are there any good websites/classes/books/secret techniques (!!!) out there for the serious classical musician who would like to know more about jazz?

Thanks!

I have to recommend "The Jazz Piano Book" and "The Jazz Theory Book" by Mark Levine as textbooks and all the Art Tatum you can get your hands on for listening. Bill Evans, Bud Powell, and Oscar Peterson are also excellent choices for listening. Studying transcriptions of solos (or even doing some transcriptions yourself if your ears and patience will allow) of the performances that really grab your ears is also a good idea since you'll connect your existing reading skills with listening which should help you develop an idiomatic sense of phrasing; maybe video of any of the above could prove helpful, too.
